Active U.S. government security clearances can typically be verified and transferred when the role requires that clearance level. We can only transfer the level of clearance needed for the position, and verification is handled by our corporate security team.

If your clearance is inactive or expired, next steps depend on how long it has been inactive and the requirements of the role for which you’re being considered:

• In some cases, an inactive clearance may be reactivated rather than starting a new investigation.

• If reactivation is not possible, a new clearance process may be required, subject to role eligibility and customer approval.

• Our security team will review your clearance status and guide you through the appropriate process if you are selected for a position.

A Public Trust is a background investigation required for certain government roles that involve sensitive but unclassified information. It is not a security clearance.
